![]() ![]() ![]() Overall, I thought Bluestacks was a great experience marred by a complete dearth of options. That combined with the fact that no matter how many times I told Windows not to display notifications from Bluestacks (why there is not an option within the app to disable passing them out to Windows I couldn't say) I would keep getting notifications from apps running in Bluestacks outside of the emulator. There was just no decent long term solution to the issue as there was no way in hell I was letting 3 processes always run as the SYSTEM user just to emulate the Logitech Harmony Remote app every now and then. Moot point anyway, I've moved on and uninstalled Bluestacks because it wasn't worth it for me to have to acknowledge the UAC control to terminate those background processes every time my wrapper caught the close of the app (which I was doing from the system tray already as doing otherwise left a copy of the Bluestacks icon in my tray.) There are still 3 processes that keep going in the background as the SYSTEM user, seemingly to speed the next launch of the Bluestacks application. That doesn't close the background processes sadly. ![]()
